ALI NICOLL VAN LEEUWEN
Originally from Christchurch, Ali moved to Auckland to get her degree in Communication Studies at AUT, majoring in Creative Industries.
After obtaining her degree, Ali began interning in publicity and communications at the New Zealand International Film Festival and then the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. Beginning as an intern at Elephant Publicity, Ali recently became a part time member of the Elephant team.
Outside of Elephant, Ali is busy going to concerts and working at Basement Theatre.
Saraid came to Auckland in 2010 to study acting at Unitec. Since graduating, she has dedicated herself to working in and creating independent theatre.
Saraid has also performed for children at Auckland Museum, voiced ads for most milk products available in New Zealand, and spent some years in the United Kingdom and Europe trying unsuccessfully to have conversations in German.
Saraid enjoys writing for work as well as in her free time, and is extremely excited to be part of the team at Elephant Publicity.
Kelly’s love of the arts began by spending too many hours in her teens lining up for concerts. A passion for live music led her to studying a Bachelor of Communications at AUT with the intention of entering journalism, but one PR paper later and she was hooked.
Kelly was lucky enough to find herself in a graduate job that was right up her alley, working in music publicity at her current other haunt Noise PR. Now adding a role as a part timer at Elephant, Kelly spends both her work and leisure time doing what she loves - working on and attending as many live shows as possible.
When she’s not gigging, Kelly is most frequently found at her side gig at a roller skating rink, flying around the world after boy bands, or dyeing her hair pastel colours.
It’s all about numbers for me …………………………
My first 6 years in the workforce began with an office administrator position which progressed into a junior bookkeeping role. My itchy feet then lead me overseas for a 2.5 year stint doing various temporary accounts roles. After returning to New Zealand, I spent the next 10 years working in the international freight industry. For the past 13 years I have been doing various contract bookkeeping roles for small to medium sized businesses.
I joined the Elephant Publicity herd in 2007 and look forward to many more years with this dynamic team.
A true westie, born and raised, I joined Elephant Publicity as a pup-licist in 2016 and will likely never leave. I studied a Certificate of Puppy Training, level 1, from Barkley Manor. I live with my human pets and have come to accept my feline housemate, Mr Griffin.
Outside of work I enjoy shredding paper, barking at strangers and licking faces.
